The PLATINA consortium has launched an innovative website on River Information Services (RIS), the RIS portal. The website covers European developments in the field of RIS and hosts the websites of 4 European Expert Groups on RIS issues. Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Inland Waterway Transport

As a coordinated effort by the PLATINA project consortium and selected experts, a strategic research and innovation agenda ("Navigator 2020") for inland waterway transport has been prepared recently. It identifies four interconnected action areas, research & innovation needs, technologies/methods expected until 2020/2050 as well as the expected results and target outcome.
